Now this is a collection that I have been waiting for since I first saw a press release floating around the internet… the China Glaze Sea Goddess Collection! Sea Goddess is a 6 piece collection made up of matte textured nail polishes with a little sparkle thrown in!
Lets take a look at these 6 new textured shades!
Shell We Dance?
Shell We Dance? is a vibrant rosy pink texture polish with silver and pink glitter mixed in. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Wish On A Starfish
Wish On A Starfish is one of my absolute favorites from this collection! Wish On A Starfish is a pale pink texture with intense gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for this photo, and let me tell you – if you like it in the photo… you will love it in person. The gold is still light and adds so much oomph to this shade!
Sand Dolla Make You Holla
When I first heard about this collection and saw shots of the polishes, Sand Dolla Make You Holla was the one I HAD to have. This reminds me of confetti cake. Sand Dolla Make You Holla is a white texture base with multi colored micro glitter within. This is a very fine grit texture. I used 2 thin coats for this photo.
Seahorsin’ Around
Seahorsin’ Around is another favorite! This is a turquoise texture base with a softer gold shimmer within it. The shimmer is pretty subtle but really gorgeous! I used 2 coats for this photo.
Tail Me Something
Tail Me Something is a metallic lavender texture. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Teal The Tide Turns
Teal The Tides Turn is a teal texture with green glitter. I like this one, but I wish it had more sparkle! This is also a fine grit texture polish like Sand Dolla Makes You Holla. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Overview
It’s safe to say I’m in love with this collection! I am a texture junkie, so these all have nice little homes in my collection. I like that there are some shimmer textures, glitter textures and metallic textures in this collection so it isn’t the same style recycled 6 times. I had no application issues at all to speak of.

I can’t wait to get these! They look amazing!
Teal The Tides Turn and Sand Dolla Make You Holla are right up my ally. TFS
Wow, these look so cool!
What a fun collection! Sand Dollar really reminds me of sand on your nails! I love Starfish too, so unique!!
Shall we dance looks gorgeous!!!
I’d buy these again if I could. BEST COLLECTION EVER. Love your swatches!
Oh wow, Sand Dolla is definitely unique! I’ve seen jellies like that, but never a textured polish. Great swatches!
I need the turquoise!
I really like Seahorsin’ Around! Did it stain?
I used 1 coat of base coat and didn’t experience staining
Oh my – I need these all – especially Tail Me Something and Wish on a Starfish – gorgeous!
These are great swatches, I think they’re all beautiful, I will probably end up with all of them! LOL
These are lovely on you! I think the texture would drive me insane though.
This collection is so beautiful! Your swatches make me want to buy all the pretties. I think I need Sand Dolla at the very least!
I love the colors, I’m not too sure about the textures. These look like they’d be hard to remove too?
Seahorsin around is one I’ve gotta have!
Gorgeous! And amazing swatches!
They all look so pretty
I wonder if I’m alone in not liking textures. The colors are pretty but the texture would drive me nuts.
Looks like China Glaze got it right with this collection, pretty.
i love that green
Very pretty! Would love to see these all topcoated.
I loved the two pinks, the blue and the purple, but I just couldn’t find love for the green or the white….they’re….awkward. The green base is beautiful, but I dunno, I’d like it better if it was just green without the awkward glitter.
