Tonight i have some lovely Fall-esque shades to share with you from Celestial Cosmetics! This is the Celestial Cosmetics We Breathe Fire Collection and is available now in the Color4Nails shop!
The Celestial Cosmetics We Breathe Fire Collection is a 6 piece collection, and I added in the Celestial Cosmetics July LE shade in this post, which makes it a 7 polish post.
The We Breathe Fire collection is inspired by the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini and is named for the dragons.
Let’s take a look at the full collection first, then we’ll look at the July LE monthly shade. As usual, if you see some you like, you can order them at Color4Nails.com and if you use the code CSant10 at checkout it will get you 10% off your entire order
Thorn
I’m starting this off with my favorite in the collection! Thorn is a deep blackened maroon linear holographic base with reddish copper micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Saphira
Saphira is a medium grey scattered holographic with heavy icy blue shimmer. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Jarnunvosk
Jarnunvosk is a really interesting color and at first I thought it would clash with my skintone, but damn – it actually looks pretty good on me. This is a medium ivory creme base with a fairly subtle linear holographic effect as well as gold flakes and a delicate gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Shruikan
Shruikan is a black linear holographic base with color shifting flakes mixed in that shift into a large variety of colors. Since the base is so dark, the flakes are a little more on the subtle side and you get random pops of color when the light hits. Very well done effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Firnen
Firnen is a gorgeous dark hunter green tightly scattered holographic base with small bronze flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Sorry the macros are slightly blurry. The tightly scattered holo made it hard to focus.
Glaedr
The last polish in the Celestial Cosmetics We Breathe Fire collection is Glaedr. I’m still not 100% sure how I feel about this polish to be completely honest. I like it, but I don’t know if I would wear it again since it gave me a case of lobster hands and wasn’t totally working with my skin tone.
Glaedr is a coppery orange metallic base with a loosely scattered holographic effect, orange microglitter and bronze microflakes. Because of the metallic base, the glitters give the appearance of an uneven or bumpy finish, but it’s actually smooth to the touch, even without top coat. The polish itself is pretty and I’m sure it would look incredibly on other skin tones, it just didn’t completely work for mine.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
July LE – Waterlily
The Celestial Cosmetics July Limited Edition shade is Waterlily! This is a purple foil holographic base with a ton of lilac shimmer and micro flakes, as well as pink shimmer, blue microglitters and bronze micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Celestial Cosmetics We Breathe Fire Collection Overview
Overall, this is a stunning collection with a ton of Fall vibes and a variety of colors that deepen the mood. The only polish I wasn’t completely sold on was Glaedr and that was more of a clashing of the skin tone issue than anything else. All of the polishes applied beautifully and it was hard to narrow down my top 3 for it, but I think I am going to have to go with: Thorn, Saphira and Firnen.
