For the month of September, Diamond Candles, Cupcake Polish and I have a fun feature for everyone! We’re going to be celebrating #ManiMonday!
Each week I’ll be showing you a different Diamond Candles scent, a fun ring reveal and a Cupcake Polish shade to compliment the candle!
To kick of #ManiMonday for the month, I have a Diamond Candles in the scent Coconut Macaroon. The Cupcake Polish we’ll be pairing with it is Chicago!
Most of you that visit my site fairly regularly are already familiar with Cupcake Polish (or at least I hope so, I’ve been sharing their collections for 4 or 5 years now) and Sara is absolutely incredible to work with. Her specialty is holographic polish. Chicago first made it’s appearance in 2013 with the American Beauty collection and it’s still a favorite.
If you aren’t familiar with Diamond Candles, they are large (21 oz) soy candles in a variety of scents to choose from and each one has a ring nestled inside the wax. Once you’ve burned the candle for a bit, you will see the foil pack the ring is in and you can use tweezers or a spoon to take it out of the wax and reveal the ring. The rings are totally random, so you really don’t know what type it will be until you open it.
Each Diamond Candles jar has a gold foil sticker inside and it helps you locate where the foil packet with the ring can be found. I burned my Coconut Macaroon candle for about 5 hours before I got low enough to get to the ring. The ring you receive might be worth $10 or it might be worth $5,000 – it’s always a surprise!
The ring in my candle wasn’t a big $5,000 one, but it was still a really fancy looking peridot colored stone. The setting is really cute and has clear stones on each side of the peridot as well as 3 set into the band itself on each side. Inside the foil was also a small folded note letting me know my ring was worth $10.
As I mentioned earlier, Diamond Candles are soy candles, so they burn for a longer period of time than traditional candles. It took about 5 hours of burning before I saw the hints of a foil packet containing my new ring. Then I blew out the candle, grabbed a spoon and went on a treasure hunt to get it out. I’ve been burning my Diamond Candles Coconut Macaroon for a few days on and off and I’m not even halfway down yet.
The Coconut Macaroon Diamond Candles scent is one of my favorites. I like to switch up scents a lot, but Coconut Macaroon is one that I can always go back to and I know I’ll enjoy it. It’s a lighter scent with hints of coconut, caramel, mellowed out vanilla and a sugary sweet pastry scented kick to it.
Obviously everyone knows I have a polish obsession, but I also really love the scent candles can bring to a living space. When I first brought these candles home, even my boyfriend got overly excited and wanted to smell each one. Diamond Candles Coconut Macaroon was my favorite (which is why I kicked off #ManiMonday with it!) but next week you’ll get to see his top fragrance pick. I love it when he gets involved in my projects.
Keep in mind, we’re getting closer to the holiday season and you can get an easy jump start on your holiday shopping (plus grab a few goodies for yourself!) by mixing and matching Diamond Candles with a Cupcake Polish and gifting them together.
Diamond Candles are $24.99 and you get a long lasting, pleasantly fragranced soy candle with a surprise ring inside. They come in a variety of scents to please just about anyone on your shopping list. Coconut Macaroon was featured for this post.
Cupcake Polish is $13.00 for a 15ml bottle and comes in a variety of shades and finishes. Chicago was featured in this post.
You can go through both shops and mix and match candles to polishes for all seasons as well.
Cupcake Polish will also be giving away 1 bottle of the featured polish each week. Use the widget below to enter! Must be 18 or older and have a US shipping address! Ends Sunday September 17th at 11:59 PM PST.
Stay tuned next Monday for another Diamond Candles & Cupcake Polish #ManiMonday feature!

Fun giveaway and beautiful photos!
Just glad that Irma didn’t take out our power so I can look at polishes and read your blog! Thank you for the opportunity.
Much better now that we have power and A.C. again!
My Monday was ok, now it’s Tuesday and I’m drinking a tasty pumpkin beer!
In the past year I have rediscovered my love of polish. I have always loved scented candles as well. Can not wait to see what next wek will be.
