It’s been a nice Cadillacquer kind of week! So far I’ve shown you the gorgeous new Color4Nails exclusive Cadillacquer shades, and after that I showed you the stunning Lakodom collection. Today I have the Valhalla Collection!
The Cadillacquer Valhalla collection was inspired by the TV show Vikings. The series is inspired by the tales of the raiding, trading, and exploring Norsemen of early medieval Scandinavia. I haven’t actually seen this series, but I’ll probably look it up since Nick and I watch a lot of series like this at night when we are ready for bed, but not quite tired enough to fall asleep yet.
All 10 of these shades are available now on the Colo4Nails site, and of course you can use my code CSant10 at checkout on the Color4Nails site to get 10% off your order.
Let’s take a look at each shade!
Baldur
Baldur is a light lavender, linear holographic with green shimmer particles and micro flakes.I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Baldur is a god in Norse mythology, who is given a central role in the mythology. Despite this his precise function is rather disputed. He is often interpreted as the god of love, peace, forgiveness, justice, light or purity, but was not directly attested as a god of such.
Bragi
Bragi is a turquoise crelly with different sized orange metallic glitter mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bragi is the skaldic god of poetry in Norse mythology.
Elli
Elli is a red leaning purple scattered holographic with vibrant blue shimmer as well as pink, green and blue glass flecks to give off small pops of color. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Elli is a personification of old age
Freyja
Freyja is a medium pink crelly with different sized turquoise holographic glitter mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Freyja is a goddess associated with love, sex, beauty, fertility, gold, war, and death.
Heimdal
Heimdal is a light grey scattered holographic with all kinds of pink and white flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This is one of my favorites from this collection.
Heimdal is the southernmost borough in Trondheim, Norway named after the god Heimdall in Norse mythology.
Idun
Idun is a very light pastel, slightly dusty mint green with blue shimmer and dark blue and magenta microglitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The blue shimmer is kind of shy, but you can see it in my second macro.
In Norse mythology, Iðunn (Idun) is a goddess associated with apples and youth.
Loki
Loki is a dark, dusty blue crelly with different sized matte orange red glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Loki is a god or jötunn (or both). The Jötnar are a mythological race that live in Jötunheimr, one of the nine worlds of Norse cosmology.
Odin
Odin is a dark blue holographic with a violet shimmer and small pink flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Odin is associated with healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet, and is the husband of the goddess Frigg.
Rán
Rán is a light, icy blue scattered holographic base filled with blue shimmery flakes and small blue holo glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Rán is a goddess associated with the sea.
Valhalla
Valhalla is a dusty violet scattered holographic polish with blue and white flakes and holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In Norse mythology, Valhalla is a majestic, enormous hall located in Asgard, ruled over by the god Odin. Chosen by Odin, half of those who die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freyja’s field Fólkvangr. In Valhalla, the dead join the masses of those who have died in combat known as Einherjar, as well as various legendary Germanic heroes and kings, as they prepare to aid Odin during the events of Ragnarök.
Cadillacquer Valhalla Collection Overview
If you have never tried Cadillacquer – you should. The quality of the polishes have always been perfect for me and I don’t recall ever having an issue with any of them. The combinations created are generally more on the unique side and with so many polishes coming out on a weekly basis now from the indie world, Cadillacquer consistently puts out shades I can honestly say are unique to my collection. I’m nearing 11,000 polishes in my collection (one day I will catalog all of them, organize and show photos) so for me to say they are mostly unique – it’s pretty accurate.
All of the shades in this collection had a great formula, perfect application and I had no issues to report.
My top picks for the Cadillacquer Valhalla Collection are Elli, Rán, Valhalla, Idun, Heimdal and Bragi.

Yeah – I have quite the collection going on and I’m still buying more! Kinda crazy.
Those are gorgeous choices from this collection! Cadillacquer is definitely a brand worth checking out! THanks Katie!
I totally agree, Madeleine’s creations are always unique. No one mixes shimmers and glitters like she does!
