I have another subscription box to show you tonight and it’s a little different than others I’ve shown on the blog.
Bulu Box is a monthly fitness and weight loss subscription box and I was interested in trying it since I’ve been dieting for about 7 months now with amazing results. I’ve been doing so without supplements or “boosts”, but I do know that some have great benefits now that I am at my goal weight.
I received the box about a month ago and over the last 30 days have sampled each item in it.
Here is a little about Bulu Box before we jump in:

Now lets take a look at what I got in my Bulu Box!
The items are:
VanaPain PM
Havvn GO Nutrition
Body Glove Surge Green Tea & Honey Protein Power
2 Rootology Breathe Free capsule packets
Justin’s Honey Peanut Butter Blend
KPax Energy Booster
My Thoughts:
On First glance, I wasn’t all that impressed and nothing jumped out as “Ohh I’ve wanted to try that!” but a couple items worked well, and I may consider picking them up again.
VanaPain PM is a Nighttime Sleep Aid for Pain Relief. It’s a Strawberry flavored liquid that helps headaches, backache, muscle aches, minor arthritis pain and menstrual cramps. I did try it during my last cycle and it was a true test. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) so some months I have a cycle, other months nothing, some months a cyst bursts. When I have a cycle, it’s incredibly painful. I used VanaPain PM and can honestly say it helped me fall asleep, relieved some of the pain (not all) and I woke up without that foggy feeling sleep aids usually give me. I will be purchasing more of these for difficult nights.
Havvn GO Nutrition is a natural mood and energy enhancer that gets mixed into water. Taste wise? Not the best. It was drinkable, but nothing I was dying to reach for. I didn’t notice anything different when consuming this. I have to be careful on my diet and no sugars can be used. Havvn GO Nutrition can be taken by me because it’s naturally sweetened with no sugar added. Will I buy more? Probably not.
Body Glove Surge Green Tea & Honey Protein Power is an energy supplement. I couldn’t finish the packet. The one I received was Chocolate Energy Gel and it didn’t taste very good to me at all. I couldn’t finish it. Just not my thing.
Rootology Breathe Free is an herbal supplement for nasal, sinus and eye health. I was skeptical about this one, but it was my favorite product in the whole box. I had a minor cold 2 weeks ago and I was actually able to breathe after taking Rootology Breathe Free. Will definitely buy a bottle of this to keep on hand for me and for my boyfriend who suffers from allergies.
Justin’s Honey Peanut Butter Blend is a peanut butter that is naturally sweetened with honey and doesn’t contain added sugars or oils. This. Was. Delicious. Amazing. I love peanut butter to begin with, but I really liked this. It comes in 14 g foil packets, so popping it my purse for work was a cinch and it makes for a nice, quick snack. I am interested to try the other flavors they carry… I loved it and will buy more.
KPax Energy is a supplement for energy. I did notice a little “boost” of energy after taking the tablets, but the tablets are on the bigger side. I didn’t get that nervous jittery feeling some energy supplements have given me, and I didn’t “crash” when it wore off. Not sure I would repurchase though… I’m on the fence. it worked, but I’m not huge on taking pills unless they REALLY wow me.
Final Thoughts:
While I don’t dislike the box, I don’t think it would be right for me overall. I was impressed with it and the items I got and about half I would repurchase or at least consider repurchasing. That’s not too bad. It wasn’t horrible for the price either, but I think I would want a little more for $10 a month.
