It has been a super busy month over here – and this last week especially.. but it’s time for the Breast Cancer Awareness Box for 2021!

This is the 4th annual box, and this is my 4th year sharing it.

A little backstory – Chrissy of Turtle Tootsie Polishes is a breast cancer survivor, so she wanted to create a box that would help “give back” to the cause that helped her. This will be an annual box, and this year there are 20 polishes, about 5 – 8 non polish items, plus other items available like lanyards and bracelets. You can buy the full box, a full polish only box, or pick and choose individual items within the box. That way if you aren’t able to buy the box, you can still grab items you love and it helps be able to donate more. This is also a rather large box, so the group understands that not everyone can grab the full shebang.

All donations go to BCRF.org. As usual with charity items I receive, I will be doing a private donation to BCRF. It’s not something I was asked to do, but I like to give back, especially when I know that they could have chosen to sell these items rather than send to me.

Every item within the box has an element of pink in it. They may not be full on pink, but some elements will have the pink factor. Some items will have a capped amount, so I will try to put those in each listing.

77 Nail Lacquer | A Cure Worth Fighting For

A Cure Worth Fighting For is a deep but bright raspberry jelly base loaded with blue to pink shifting shimmers, copper shimmer and silver micro holo bars. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alter Ego Body Care Products | Simple Pleasure Soap

Simple Pleasure Soap is a goats milk soap shaped like a heart. This is unscented so no worries for those sensitive to fragrances.

This has a nice lather to it, but it’s not the typical “commercial” lather. You can suds up but it won’t be a ton.

Approximate size is 3.75oz

Anchor & Heart Lacquer | Determined to Win!

Determined To Win! is a silver orchid scattered holographic base with pink micro flakes and pink micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Black Dahlia | Pink Carnations

Pink Carnations is a mint green jelly base with pink to teal to silver shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

If you have a strong VNL – you may want to use thicker coats or a blurring base coat.

Colores de Carol | Boobtastic

Boobtastic is a medium neon pink crelly base with holo micro glitter, holo micro shreds, red hex glitters and navy glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Crystal Knockout | Vital Spark (Thermal)

Vital Spark is a medium purple (cold) to pale lavender (warm) crelly based thermal with matte dark pink, pale pink and white glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This polish dries down with a texture due to glitter content, so you may need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

Cuticula | No One Fights Alone

No One Fights Alone is a fuchsia pink jelly base loaded with a rainbow assortment of iridescent flakes, scattered green to gold shimmer, metallic rose gold flakes and silver holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fair Maiden Polish | Treasured Chests

Treasured Chests is a soft peachy pink crelly base loaded with red to gold to green shimmer and gold to pink iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hearts & Promises | Faith Over Fear

Faith Over Fear is a pale cream crelly base with hot pink and pale pink glitters, pink and gold metallic flakes and pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Yes Ma’ammogram is a deep pink jelly base loaded with red to gold aurora shimmer, as well as scattered hold micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mujerfuerte is a pale baby pink crelly base with gold flakes and pink to green shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tough Titties is a deep fuchsia based multichrome that shifts from pink to yellow to green and blue at extreme angles, with linear holo and holographic micro flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Music City Beauty | Never Give Up

Never Give Up is a bright berry pink crelly base loaded with strong red to green to gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Nailed It Nail Polish | Think Pink

Think Pink is a pale icy pink linear holographic with pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Paradox Polish | I Love Boobies (Magnetic)

I Love Boobies is a vibrant medium pink crelly base loaded with silvery magnetic pigment and scattered holo. I only magnetized 2 nails and left the other 2 unmagnetized so you can see it both ways.

Pepperpot Lip gloss | Titillating

Pepperpot brings us Titillating lip gloss! This is a pink leaning coral tinted gloss with gold shimmer. It’s non sticky and glides on smooth with a nice sheen to it. It’s flavored in Spearmint.

The shimmer is small particle so it doesn’t accentuate lines in the lip but more adds a flash of gold when light hits just right.

PepperPot Polish | Simply The Breast

Simply The Breast is a deep fuchsia pink jelly base loaded with gold shimmer, and a mix of dark pink, pale pink, holo pink and medium pink glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade dries down with a mild texture, so you may need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish | Not Just Women

Not Just Women is a vibrant, medium blue jelly base with pink to gold to green shifting shimmer and iridescent flakes, as well as silver holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Psyche Minerals | Stronger

Stronger is a loose eyeshadow that is a peachish pink to coral shifting shadow with gold and pink sparkles. I do show it in an arm swatch with 1 layer patted on, 2 layers patted on and then over primer.

This makes a nice wash of color for lazy makeup days, but packs a nice punch without being obnoxious on days you want a little more oomph.

Red Eyed Lacquer | I Pink You’re A Warrior

I Pink You’re A Warrior is a bright pink crelly base loaded with pink to gold shifting shimmer and lots of silver holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Rogue Lacquer | Kick It To The Curb

Kick It To The Curb is a rose gold flake bomb! This is a clear base loaded with rose gold flakes, silver holo flakes, gold flakes and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sassy Pants | Pink Ribbon

Pink Ribbon is a pale pink crelly base with pink and magenta holo glitters, as well as red to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Soapy Chef | Sweet Pea Hand & Nail Scrub

This stuff smells SO good! Hand & Nails Scrub is a gentle exfoliating scrub that is finer particle than sugar scrubs, so it’s good for normal “maintenance” on hands. I use sugar scrubs for tough jobs, but this stuff is perfect for nightly use just to keep things on the up and up. Instead of sugar, this scrub utilizes baking soda to scrub with.

This scrub emulsifies and lathers a bit when you add water to it.

Scent notes: Pear, berry, raspberry, spring florals, musk, light woody.

It’s more of a sweeter floral scent.

Under A Hula Moon | Wax Melt Bars

We’re gonna start this one out with the truth. I am a sugar junkie. Massive sweet tooth. Huge. Unless it’s candy corn cause that stuff is gross (black licorice.. I’m lookin at you too.) So when I first opened this magical BCA box, I see these “candy bars” and was like “YES!” Figured they sprung for some BCA themed candy bars and I thought I hit the jackpot… until I saw they were wax melts.

On the bright side – these smell amazing. On the not so bright side – Lisa had no candy bars.

So… Under a Hula Moon brings us these delicious SMELLING wax melts (please don’t eat them) with iridescent glitters. The scent description is Strawberry Jam, Rich Vanilla and Caramelized Brown Sugar. This is sweet and bakery like and my nose picks up the vanilla first with a hint of berry. It wasn’t immediately recognized by me that the berry was strawberry. Then the sweetness of those are gently rounded out with the sticky brown sugar scent.

Zombie Claw – Hakuna MaTaTa (Glow In The Dark)

Hakuna MaTaTa is a pink scattered holo base with pink metallic flakes and sapphire, pink, magenta and fuchsia micro glitters. This shade glows a green tinged white in the dark. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dries with a slightly textured base – may need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

As I mentioned earlier, all donations go to BCRF.org.

$30 from each full type of box (Full or Polish Only full Box) will be donated and $1.50 from each individual polish will be donated, and 10% of all none polish items will be donated.
