Happy Friday! I have the newest Bluebird Lacquer release to share today, which will include the newest Neon Shimmer-Chromes, May The Fourth Be With You! 2024 Duo, as well as the April 2024 and May 2024 Bird of the Month shades. These round out Bluebird Lacquer’s May 2024 releases!

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached
I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830) and I don’t do any fun frills to be fancy cause I don’t know how, if we’re being completely honest.

Bluebird Lacquer | Chickadeelicious
Chickadeelicious is a hot pink neon with green to pink to yellow shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bluebird Lacquer | Fair Feather Fan
Fair Feather Fan is a rosy pink neon with rose to gold to orange shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bluebird Lacquer | I’m A Plover Not A Fighter
I’m A Plover Not A Fighter is a mac n cheese orange neon with orange to yellow shimmer with a slight green shift at extreme angles.
Bluebird Lacquer | Nuthatching A Plan
Nuthatching A Plan is a bright medium blue with purple to pink shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I didn’t find this to be neon, but it is vibrant.

A Force to be Reckoned With is part of the May the Fourth Be With You Duo for 2024.
A Force to Be Reckoned With is a violet jelly base with a glowy red to orange to gold shimmer and silver reflective glitter. I use 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bluebird Lacquer | C-3PO Hell Yeah
C-3PO Hell Yeah is the other shade in the May The Fourth Be With You 2024 Duo
C-3POh Hell Yeah is a sparkly gold with hints of green shifts and a lovely subtle holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bluebird Lacquer | Blurple Nurple
The April Bird of the Month is Blurple Nurple. Blurple Nurple is a grape purple jelly base with a blue-purple shimmer that has a large particle turquoise shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bluebird Lacquer | Great Convo-sation
The May Bird of the Month was inspired by Ahsoka’s convor bird, Morai. Ahsoka is a former Jedi knight.
Great Convor-sation is a sister polish to Por Some Sugar On Me. It is a glowy ethereal purple to blue to green with a silvery white sparkly reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and glossy top coat for these photos.
