Happy Friday! I’m still keeping busy and have a lot to show this weekend. Jacob is also about to start 10th grade (eep!) so I’ll be posting in between back to school shopping. This morning we will be looking at the Bluebird Lacquer Fall Feathered Friends Collection!

The Bluebird Lacquer Fall Feathered Friends Collection is a 5 piece collection with lots of holo! I don’t know about where everyone else is… but it’s been feeling like Fall in Massachusetts since early July. We finally have a house with a pool and we worked on it to get it ready for swimming…. and it feels like it’s rained almost every weekend since. If it’s not raining, it’s thunderstorm warnings. Yesterday we had a tornado warning. This weekend we have a Nor’easter warning.

Glad our pool is all ready for no one to use.

Anyways, I’m done whining… for now.

All 5 holos are described as ‘shattered’ holos. These are basically densely packed scattered holo with micro fleck like holo so it gives a more “shattered” effect vs as straight holo effect.

It’s almost the real Fall and these 5 colors get us all in the Fall mood! These release today at 5pm EST. Let’s jump in and take a look.

Bluebird Lacquer | Got Any Sparrow Change

Got Any Sparrow Change is a violet blue/ blurple shattered holo with violet shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a shade that’s harder to fully capture. It is more in the blue family, however there is a glorious flash of purple that is camera shy.

Bluebird Lacquer | No Egrets

No Egrets is a deep teal shattered holo. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is the perfect deep teal shade.

Bluebird Lacquer | A Real Know It Owl

A Real Know It Owl is a deep army green shattered holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bluebird Lacquer | Catch A Beakdown

Catch A Beakdown is a blackberry shattered holo. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is my #1 in the collection – I loooooove the vampy shades like this.

Bluebird Lacquer | Gifted and Talonted

Gifted and Talonted is a berry leaning magenta shattered holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bluebird Lacquer | Fall Feathered Friends Collection

This is a total Fall collection, just looking at it – you know what season it was created for.

All of these were near 1 coat wonders. I do thinner coats, so I do use 2 – but if you use medium to thick coats, you might be able to get away with just 1. The shattered holo effect is beautifully done, and it looks like regular and small fleck like holo scattered in. Gives that “shattered glass” appearance vs a typical scattered holographic.
