Light that Shadows in the Night

Light that Shadows in the Night is a sunny yellow jelly packed with gold ultra holographic microglitters and red to bronze to copper ultra chrome chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Clear My View

Clear My View is a bright pink jelly base with holographic microflakes and purple and aqua shimmers. Dries to a satin finish, but I added top coat to gloss it up. Shown is 2 coats and top coat.

Every Moment Lasts a Day

Every Moment Lasts a Day is a leaf green crelly base packed with copper shimmer and gold microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Autumn Winds Blow

Autumn Winds Blow is a pumpkin orange jelly with red, gold and green microflakes added in. It’s a little more toned down in person. My camera like to brighten oranges. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Flaming Fields

Flaming Fields is a deep wine red crelly packed with blue to gold to green shifting glass flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

November Destination Duo With Ever After Polish

This month’s Destination Polish Duo is a collaboration with Ever After Polish!  Their polishes are based off the photo below that Julie took at the Harry Potter Studio Tour that both Rachel and Julie visited this fall (at different times).  The duo will be released at both shops, and both shops DO ship internationally!

Mischief Managed is an ultramarine blue with purple and blue shimmer and scattered holo. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Next Great Adventure is a bright magenta crelly with blue and pink microflakes. Dries down to a satin finish, but I used top coat for these photos. 3 thin coats and top coat shown.

So for me, My Precious is a total knockout. When I saw it my heart skipped a beat. My Precious is a blue-leaning purple packed with silver and purple microflakies and green/gold/red shifting glitters in two sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

What a gorgeous release! I had absolutely no issue with any of these shades shown, and actually asked Julie if her formula changed. While I’ve never had an issue with BEGL formulas, they usually lean thicker but all of these were pretty much the perfect consistency and glided on smooth and evenly. Because they are jelly and crelly bases, a lot did need 3 coats to get rid of visible nail line, but I’m perfectly fine with that.

My Precious was my top pick, and that is actually the GWP of $50 or more during Cyber Monday, so it’s well worth it to stock up on shades for that baby.
