May 2016 Destination Trio

Whaaaaat? 3 posts in 1 day? Yup, I would do a 4th, but I don’t think I’ll be awake that long! So the last post tonight will be the Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer May 2016 Destination Trio (not a duo this month… a TRIO!) plus I have Manna’s shade from The Color Box, as well as the May Siren to share with you!

This month Julie worked with 2 fabulous makers for a Destination Trio. Those 2 makers are Kristin from Northern Star and Carrie from Darling Diva Polish. This is a fab collab team!

Kristin took this photo while in Chicago. I’ve only been in the airport there for a long layover, but I’d love to actually visit Chicago one day!

Let’s look at the 3 shades for this trio, and then move onto the other photos!

Darling Diva Polish :Undomesticated Diva

Undomesticated Diva is a deep raspberry pink holographic with silver holographic microglitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Polish took its name as a nod to Peggy from Married With Children since the fountain is featured in the opening scenes from every episode.

Northern Star : Make A Wish

Make A Wish is a dusty stormy blue creme with turquoise micro flakes and charcoal flecks mixed in. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer : Moon Glow

Moon Glow is an egg yolk yellow crelly packed with rose, blue and purple micro flakes. I found the formula to be a touch thick, and let Julie know, so she said she would add a little thinner to the final batch. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Manna’s Majestic Masterpiece

Manna’s Majestic Masterpiece was part of the purple edition of The Color Box. This is a light lilac crelly packed with blue and purple iridescent flecks and silver ultra holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Siren’s May Bouquet

Last up tonight we have the May Siren! Siren’s May Bouquet is a pink leaning lavender crelly with rainbow microflakes. This one was also a little thick for me, but like Moon Glow – Julie said she would thin it a bit for release. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Along with these shades, there will be a limited restock of the Foux du Fafa Collection,  Lilly Of My Dreams & Siren’s Vamp Chic Spring, and the April Destination Duo. Overall, these 5 polishes I showed you tonight were nicely done, but Moon Glow and Siren’s May Bouquet were a touch thick.
