Happy Wednesday! I have the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Nosferatu Collection to share today, as well as a mystery bag of 2 polishes inspired by The Immortal Dark! I will share The Immortal Dark at the very end of this post so you know to skip/quickly scroll if you would like to keep them mysteries.

If you want to see these swatched on YouTube – my video is up and linked below!

Bee’s Knees Lacquer has a new collection coming inspired by the new Nosferatu movie. This collection features lots of blue shimmers, a magnetic, a cream polish, and silver light reflective glitter reminiscent of moonlight.

I was also sent one of The Immortal Dark Mystery Bags which contains 2 of a possible 8 mystery polishes. I did put these at the end of the post for those who wish to not see them yet.

There will not be any limits on the number of polishes customers can purchase from the collection but The Immortal Dark Mystery Bags will be 1 per person until 2/28, and if any bags are left – the limit will be lifted at that time.

Overpours from BG3 pt.1, BG3 pt.1 freebies, Divine Mortals, and Divine Mortals freebies will be available.

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats (unless I’m reviewing them) or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached.

I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830) and I don’t do any fun frills to be fancy.

Okay – ready to jump in?

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Undead

Undead is a deep teal leaning blue creme. I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

I was able to use this to stamp (shown in final photo) but it doesn’t reach full opacity in 1 coat, so it will likely only work over medium and light colors.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Would Make Isaac Newton Crawl Back Into His Mother’s Womb

Would Make Isaac Newton Crawl Back Into His Mother’s Womb is a coppery metallic base with gold shimmer and silver reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

There is a decent amount of reflective glitters in this polish, however – the texture was very mild and I didn’t need glitter smoother at all for it.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | I Am An Appetite

I Am An Appetite is a silvery magnetic that has a slight green tone and a soft pink shift that’s incredibly subtle, in a sheer grey jelly base. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I show the index and pinky as velvet, middle and ring as catseye and thumb is 1 coat over Undead.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Nosferatu

Nosferatu is a super sheer “gossamer” pale green base with blue shimmer that has a violet shift. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The gossamer formula is not meant to be opaque or build to opacity. It can work as a topper over medium and dark base colors as well.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Lovely Flowers

The Lovely Flowers is a medium greyed out teal creme base with silvery lilac to green shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Does Evil Come From Within Us

Does Evil Come From Within Us is a deep blood red jelly with large particle blue shimmer flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This has a pink hue to it on me. Almost a magenta-red look.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Or From Beyond?

Or From Beyond? is a deep blackened brown jelly base with large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

At 3 coats this looks like a black jelly base to me.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Never!

Never! is a dark greyed out green jelly base with blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This base also appeared like a black base to me.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | He Is Coming

He Is Coming is a sheer blue “gossamer” style polish, with red to green microflake shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Gossamer polishes are not meant to build to opacity – but the do layer nicely over medium and dark shades.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Thank You For Loving Me

Thank You For Loving Me is a greyed out seafoam crelly base with blue shimmer and silver light reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Immortal Dark Mystery Bag ***Spoiler***

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The World Loves to Punish Girls who Dream in the Dark

The World Loves to Punish Girls who Dream in the Dark is a deep brown jelly base with large particle blue to purple shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This color is similar to Or From Beyond so customers purchasing that shade may wish to put in a request to avoid this shade.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | You Already Carry A Dead Heart

You Already Carry a Dead Heart is a deep midnight blue jelly base with large particle red to green to gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Nosferatu Collection & The Immortal Dark Mystery Bag

I have not seen Nosferatu yet, I’m actually a chicken with some movies. From what I’ve seen for trailers and such though – the blue color story seems accurate. I would have really loved a deep, opaque, vampy red though.
