Happy Wednesday! Today we’re going to be looking at the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Kingdom of the Wicked Collection!
Bee’s Knees Lacquer Kingdom of the Wicked Collection is a 14 piece collection inspired by the book series of the same name. This is set to be the final release for Bee’s Knees Lacquer. Maybe in the future if things get better they will return for more releases… but for now, this is the final shop release. You will still be able to find her in collabs though. For now they will be participating in Polish Pickup and Fandom Flakies, and possibly others.
The Kingdom of the Wicked Collection features several polishes that BKL refers to as “Lion Cousins” and the pigments come from the same family as the Lion With A Thorn In It’s Paw pigments and the same overall formula.

Choice Is Powerful is a white crelly base with gold to green to blue shimmer and a slight, subtle holo effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

There’s a Little Matter Of Murder To Attend To is a Lion cousin, this is a turquoise jelly base with extra sparkly green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | You’re Impossibly Blasphemous
You’re Impossibly Blasphemous is also a Lion cousin, this is a black jelly base with extra sparkly blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Crone
The Crone is a Lion cousin, this is a soft lavender jelly base with extra sparkly blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Liar
Liar is another Lion cousin, this is a soft, grape jelly base with extra sparkly green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | An Act of Love
An Act Of Love is a Lion cousin as well, this is a pale indigo jelly based polish with extra sparkly green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Monsters Could Be Created but Never Tamed
Monsters Could Be Created But Never Tamed is a Lion cousin, this is a smoky mauve jelly base with extra blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | As Above So Below
As Above So Below is a Lion cousin, this is a deep violet polish with extra sparkly blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat.
This lightly stained my gel nails, so be aware to use a good base coat.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | House Vengeance
House Vengeance is a Lion cousin, this is a burgundy jelly base with extra sparkly green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Love Is The Most Powerful Magic
Love Is The Most Powerful Magic is a soft, sheer purple with ultra glowy blue to purple shimmer. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
You natural nail will show through this even with 3 coats.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | We Are The Feared
We Are The Feared is a deep maroon with red to green ghost flakes and emerald light reflective glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Formula was a little thick but still easy to use.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer | I Believe I Am Powerful Therefore I Am
I Believe I’m Powerful Therefore I Am is a deep almost teal tinged green jelly base with red to green ghost flakes and black light reflective glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This formula was thicker than I expected. Still usable, but I would suggest a touch of thinner if you don’t work well with thicker polishes.

It’s A F*cking Promise is a semi sheer wine purple jelly base with extra sparkly green to blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I’m so sad this is the last release, but I am happy that BKL will still be around in collabs. It’s better than nothing, so I’ll take it. My top picks from this collection are House Vengeance, An Act of Love and Liar.
