Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Elden Ring Collection Part Two

In June we got to see the Bee’s Knees Lacquer Elden Ring Collection Part One… and now it’s time for Part Two!

If you missed part one, you can view it HERE.

Unfortunately I do not have time to do a video for this part, but August is on the way, so I’ll be sure to do a video for that set.

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats (unless I’m reviewing them) or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached.

I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830) and I don’t do any fun frills to be fancy.

Let’s jump into part 2 and take a look!

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Elden Beast

Elden Beast is a smoky plum Lion cousin with gold to green shimmer and a ton of holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Cuz

Cuz is inspired by the little pot in Jarburg, this is what BKL is calling their gossamer formula.

Cuz is a sheer grungy yellow jelly base with strong pink to gold to green microflake shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

*note, the gossamer formula will not reach full opacity without a blurring base or undies*

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Goddess of Rot

Goddess of Rot is inspired by Malenia, this is a wine jelly base with strong gold to green to blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Lost Grace

Lost Grace is a sheer grape purple jelly base with strong gold to green to blue microflake shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds

Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds is a new Lion cousin, this is inspired by the capital and is a sheer, pale grey jelly base with gold to green shimmer and a ton of holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | FFS

FFS is inspired by that one trap that transports you to the crystal mine, this is a rusty reddish brown jelly base with glowy blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Placidu-suuux

Placidu-suuux is inspired by the only boss Tim never beat, this is a sandy tan Lion cousin with pink to gold shimmer and a ton of holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Dancing Queens

Dancing Queens is inspired by the scariest dancing ladies, this is the failed Minora formula reborn! Dancing Queens is a medium warm kind of orangey beige with larger particle silver magnetic shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Crabs Is Bugs

Crabs Is Bugs is inspired by my other crustacean nemesis, this is a semi sheer green tinged gray jelly base with fine particle magnetic holo shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Elden Ring Collection Part Two

This set feels very “Fall” to me. I do like this part a tad more than part one… i just feel like these look better on me in general.
