Next up for Black Friday releases we have Beaux Reves Lacquer!
This is a 5 piece Winter collection (the 6th shade is actually part of December’s Polish Pickup shop!) and it’s the Good Chemistry Collection, and the 6th item shown here is a Limited Edition Holiday shade for only $8 from release through Cyber Monday!
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (which dries clear), and for top coat I used Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). I didn’t feel that a glitter smoother was necessary because these didn’t dry with much texture.

Beaux Reves Lacquer | Defy Gravity
Defy Gravity is an olive green jelly base with magenta to amber to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Beaux Reves Lacquer | In My Element
In My Element is a turquoise (cold) to sheer milky white (warm) with iridescent shimmer and micro flakes that shift green to aqua to violet to pink. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Beaux Reves Lacquer | Mass Appeal
Mass Appeal is a bright blurple jelly base loaded with aqua to navy blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Beaux Reves Lacquer | Part of the Solution
Part of the Solution is a purple to mauve to red shifting shimmery base with iridescent flakes that shift from green to aqua to violet to pink, with holo sparkle mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Beaux Reves Lacquer | Up and Atom!
Up and Atom! is a deep magenta base with purple shimmer and bright red magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The magnetic pull on this one is more subtle. I only magnetized the middle and ring nails for these photos.
Beaux Reves Lacquer | Cranberry Cosmos
Cranberry Cosmos is the limited edition holiday shade!
Cranberry Cosmos is a bold red jelly base with green to gold shifting shimmer, as well as chameleon flakes and gold reflective glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I did experience staining with this shade.
