Halloween festivities are over, and I’m about to do some more posts. This was our first Halloween at the new house and we got a TON of trick or treaters. Due to the pandemic and all – we did set it up so everyone was at the end of their driveway with a table set up so we could have candy out and kids could grab theirs with minimal contact from us – plus all the neighbors were out chatting. Many seemed curious about “the people from California” so we met a lot of neighbors we hadn’t met yet (we moved here in March) and they all seemed really nice. It’s a very different feel than California was.
Anyways – it was a good night, and now we’re unwinding and I decided to type up my review of the Baroness X Polish The Sage Collection!
The Baroness X The Sage Collection is a 6 piece collection of jelly based polishes with shimmers and flakes. Well, 6 are jelly based and one is a topper. There will also be a pen available that has the same flakes in it as the topper.

Baroness X Polish | Dream Awake
Dream Awake is a bright ocean blue jelly base with magenta to copper to gold to green shimmer and blue metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Baroness X Polish | Sacred Journey
Sacred Journey is a purple jelly base with turquoise to blue to violet shimmer and purple metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Baroness X Polish | Mind Walk
Mind Walk is a magenta jelly base with indigo to purple to magenta shimmer and pink metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade photographs a bit brighter than it is in person.
Baroness X Polish | Psychic Healing
Psychic Healing is a yeal jelly base with purple to pink to green shimmer and teal metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Baroness X Polish | Perception
Perception is a medium lime green jelly base with orange to gold to green shimmer and peridot metallic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Baroness X Polish | Thinning The Veil
Thinning The Veil is a true iridescent flake topper with holo micro flakes. Over white (or lighter colors/ pastels) the flakes will be pink, lime green, teal, purple clear flakes. Over black (or dark colors) you will see pink, peach, gold and green. I used 1 coat over Got Milk? by Fancy Gloss – which is a white crelly base. The next set of photos shows 1 coat over Vapid Lacquer Pessimist.
Baroness X Polish | Iridescent Water Globe Pen
The same flakes used in Thinning The Veil were also used in this water globe pen. This pen features a large glass diamond top with 4 prongs holding it on. The upper barrel is a water and iridescent flake portion that floats with movement and shimmers around. The lower barrel is a colorful multichrome like look, with a silver tip.

My top picks for this collection are Psychic Healing, Mind Walk and Perception… and the pen. I had no application issues with any of these polishes.
