Yesterday I showed you the Barielle Vibrants Collection, and today I have the other half of the Spring 2014 collection – Velvets!
The Velvets Collection consists of 6 softer, romantic shades.
Cream ‘n Sugar
Cream ‘n Sugar is a sheer peachy beige crelly. I really liked this shade. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Uptown Girl
Uptown Girl is a pale soft beige. Definitely a foundation polish. While the formula was fantastic, this isn’t a shade I would reach for. I used 2 coats for these photos.
My Tan Blazer
My Tan Blazer is a tan camel shade. Again, formula was perfect, but the color just doesn’t look right against my skintone. I used 2 coats for these photos.
My Week Away
My Week Away is a dusty pink creme with a faint greenish gold shimmer within it. I used 2 coats for these photos.
A Little Exotic
A Little Exotic is a dusty coral red creme. A top pick form the collection! I used 2 coats for these photos.
Sexy Mood
Sexy Mood is a muted purple leaning magenta. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Overview
Formula wise, all 6 of these shades are amazing. 2 are shades I wouldn’t personally wear, but I know ladies who love them. My top picks are My Week Away and Cream ‘n Sugar!
Price: $8.00 Each
Where To Buy: Barielle Website
I really love that Barielle put out both a vibrant set of colors and a softer set for Spring. After Winter is over, some ladies like jumping right into bright fun colors, while others like to slowly transition into it. Gives a good selection for multiple people.
