Guess what’s releasing tomorrow? The August 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box, and this month is incredible!

What is G.N.O.M.E.? It stands for Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence! Rica and Stardust Polish are two brands that are constant in this three polish box, and each month there is a guest maker. August 2016’s guest maker is Dreamland Lacquer!

Let’s look at each polish, and purchasing information will be at the end of the post.

Rica – Gnoman Empire

Gnoman Empire is a medium magenta pink linear holographic with scattering of holo microglitter mixed in for some extra spark. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Stardust Beauty – GNOMEnclature

GNOMEnclature is a deep red leaning purple with cattered holographic as well as purple and black holo microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dreamland Lacquer – MetroGNOME

MetroGNOME is a medium turquoise holographic with added microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

August 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box Overview

Go ahead, you can say it… this is a good month. I’ve only received a few and so far this was the first month that didn’t have a color scheme. The August 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box is a nice Summer to Fall transitional box though. You have a bright shade from Dreamland Lacquer, a medium shade from Rica, and a nice vampy one from Stardust Beauty. All 3 applied nicely and I used a thick top coat for them, but if you find your top coat is on the thinner side, you might need to double up because of the microglitter in the shades for a completely smooth finish.
