Happy Saturday! I’m still playing a little catchup from being sick, but I’m almost back on track… and I’m still taking a lot of naps. Today we’re looking at Alchemy Lacquers Love Spell Collection, as well as their Red Polish Society Custom!

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats (unless I’m reviewing them) or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached.
I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830) and I don’t do any fun frills to be fancy.

Alchemy Lacquers | Adored Blush (Magnetic)
Adored Blush is a spiced wine jelly nail lacquer with cyan to blue to purple shifting iridescent flakes and blue to purple to pink magnetic shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used a catseye magnet on the middle and ring and index and pinky are unmagnetized.

Cherished Moments is a medium lavender jelly nail lacquer with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer and holographic shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupid’s Kiss is a berry pink jelly base with blue to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hearts in Bloom is a crelly based thermal nail lacquer that shifts from a grape purple (cold) to a peachy pink (warm) packed with blue to purple shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Love Spell is a bright, warm red jelly base with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sweet Serenade is a plum purple jelly base with purple holographic micro glitter. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I love Valentine’s collections, especially when they lean into more purpley shades. I love my pinks and reds too – don’t get me wrong – but especially with Alchemy Lacquers – the purples are just SO good!
