Agents of Chaos Collection & Valentine’s Day Duo

Hey hey – work is picking up and getting busier – and I’ve been planning my son’s 14th birthday party, so it’s been a little busy around here. I have a couple posts to show you over the next 2 days, but we’re going to start with the Alchemy Lacquers Agents of Chaos Collection & Valentine’s Day Duo!

If I remember correctly – this release was supposed to be last week on the 8th, but it was pushed back to Saturday the 15th. I kept meaning to post this earlier in the week, but after work I was exhausted or in planning mode, so I hadn’t gotten to it. Luckily – I’m still in time for the launch!

The Agents of Chaos Collection consists of 5 colors while the Valentine’s Day shades are just 2, which is why I said ‘duo’ for it.

Let’s jump in and look. We’ll start with Agents of Chaos and the final 2 will be the Valentine’s Day shades.

Alchemy Lacquers | Pandemonium (Thermal)

Pandemonium is a dusky, medium purple (cold) to seafoam green (warm) creme based scattered holographic with green to purple to magenta shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Mayhem

Mayhem is a cool toned purple jelly base with turquoise to blue to purple to pink shifting flakes and shimmer, as well as silver holographic glitters in micro and small, and silver holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Maelstrom

Maelstrom is a deep teal jelly base with green to gold to pink shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Chaos (Thermal)

Chaos is a dusty denim blue (cold) to dusty beige (warm) creme thermal with scattered and linear holo as well as red to orange to gold to green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The beige (warm) state is more beige in person, my body temp is usually cold, so it kept trying to transition while photographing, so it’s actually showing an almost in between greige state in my photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Bedlam

Bedlam is probably my favorite from this release, but the hardest to photograph as far as showing how beautiful it is.

Bedlam is a deep aubergine jelly base with violet to gold shifting shimmer and large particle scattered holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Bleeding Heart

Bleeding Heart is a bubblegum pink crelly base with red micro flecks and purple to magenta to orange to gold iridescent shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alchemy Lacquers | Cardinal Flower

Cardinal Flower is a warm red jelly base with red, purple, silver holographic, and gold holographic micro glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The micro glitters are super fine, so you should only need 1 coat of top coat for a smooth finish, the texture was extremely light.

This is a beautiful release, and I feel like these are all shades that can be worn year round and not really season specific – which is good. The thermals were super reactive to my body temp and applied beautifully.

My top picks are Bedlam, Maelstrom, Bleeding Heart and Mayhem.
