Adventures in Stamping Part 2
I’m back with the second part of my stamping adventures. Head over to read Part 1 if you missed it :)
I’m here to show off the third and final stamping plate I received from Llarowe. This one has a sugary sweet theme to it and was cute as can be!

The Results:
This is my third successful stamping attempt – I actually did it much quicker than before and no mess ups! I love the 2 little flowers on my ring finger and how all the detail of the stems came out! I used Konad Special Nail Polish in White for this set! Also, I won’t lie, I was all set to make this a colorful stamping experience, but I chickened out and decided to stick to basics I know. Soon though – I promise!
This is the LeaLaC 3 plate and retails for $5.00
I’m going to share a few tips some close friends gave me for stamping (that were important) :
- Make sure polish base color is completely dry
- Use a fast dry top coat over base color, this way if you mess up stamping, you can lightly wipe the image away without having to start the base color over
- ROLL the stamper from left to right (or right to left), this will transfer the full image easier and with all detail still intact.
- Allow image polish to dry before adding a top coat, otherwise you chance smearing the image.
- Take your time!
Now I’ve semi mastered the small images, I think I’m ready for the Full Nail Image type plates!
You can find these image plates, as well as others, in Llarowe’s Shop. Small plates are $5.00 and full image plates are $20.00
The image plates were designed as a collaboration by Leah Ann Llarowe, Laura Braga de Pinho and her mother Celia.
