Tonight I have the Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts to show you. I didn’t quite use it as a face scrub though! While it was marketed as a face exfoliator, it was a bit too harsh for my skin, even when I mixed it with some cleanser to calm it down.
Instead, I used it mixed in with various body washes and used as a body scrub. If you self tan, or just have dry skin in general, the Adovia Exfoliating Facial Sea Salts are fantastic! Just don’t use it on open cuts or anything, it is salt and it will sting.
Here is what Adovia had to say about the highlights of their Facial Sea Salts:
- Experience a More Radiant, Clear and Beautiful Skin with At-Home Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Treatment
- 100% Pure Dead Sea Salts Specially Finely Ground for Facial Use
- Salts Infuse Skin with Dead Sea Minerals While Gently Exfoliating Dead Skin Cells
- Perfect for Acne Prone and Oily Skin – Works Great When Mixed with a Cleanser, Soap or Mask for an Extra Exfoliating Effect
As I said, I didn’t have much luck with it as a facial exfoliator. My skin isn’t super sensitive, but it wasn’t tough enough for sea salts! You do get a rather hefty jar though (12.3 oz) so if you are into DIY body scrubs and such, this might be perfect for you!
