Above The Curve Watermelon & Blue Raspberry Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Above the Curve has sent a a few goodies to review and I’m going to be showing them to you in batches!

Today I will be showing the 2 with fruity names!  Watermelon and Blue Raspberry!  These are both from the Jolly Rancher inspired collection and are squishy jellies with linear holo!

Check them out!

Watermelon:

Watermelon is a gorgeous red jelly base with a linear holo.  I only needed 3 coats to reach this level of opacity!

Sorry for the lighting change.. I didn’t realize it did that until after I had removed the polish.

So pretty!

Blue Raspberry:

Blue Raspberry is my favorite of the two!  Blue Raspberry is a blue jelly base with a linear holo effect.  The holo shows up much more in this one versus Watermelon!  I used 3 coats for this and a top coat.  Top coat doesn’t effect the holo in either polish!

Again, both of these are a part of the Jolly Rancher inspired collection which is a 4 piece collection.  Application was smooth and easy with no issues.  Top coat is safe to use with them as well and will not dull the holo effect!

Love the fruity names. Whenever a polish has a fruit-related name, I always swear I can smell that fruit when I use the polish…even if the polish is scented…I’ve lost my mind! Too many fumes! =) haha. Beautiful swatches, Lisa!
