Last month I had the pleasure or showing you a new box concept that came out – A Mini Indied Box. Unlike most collab boxes out, this was a box that offers 10 mini indie polishes from various makers at a decent price. This way you can sample an assortment of brands before you jump in and buy full size. Today I have A Mini Indied Box February 2016 to show you!

Yes I did say 10 polishes and have 9 in the collage – that’s because the 10th is a mystery polish. I don’t even know what brand it is let alone the color.

As far as this particular box goes, I am only familiar with close to half of the brands. I’ve heard of them all, but haven’t tried them all – so even with someone like me with a little over 10,000 polishes – a box like this even helps me discover new brands.

Let’s take a look, then I’ll have purchasing info below.

The Don Deeva – Glitter Snob

The Don Deeva Glitter Snob is a black jelly base packed with gold holographic micro flakes and a nice violet shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Heather’s Hues – Live, Love, Lavender

Heather’s Hues Live, Love, Lavender is a beautiful lavender base with violet and silver shimmer as well as silver holo micro flakes, blue flakes and violet flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Joy Lacquer – Pistachi-Oh!

Joy Lacquer Pistachi-Oh! is a pale mint green creme with yellow shimmer and green speckles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Chirality Nail Polish – Sky Research

Chirality Nail Polish Sky Research is a medium blue with blur, red and gold micro glitter mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Polish Addicts Nail Color – Vintage Rose

Polish Addicts Nail Color Vintage Rose is a pink to clear thermal with scattered silver and bright pink holographic micro glitters, copper micro glitter, rose pearl shimmer and red shimmer. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I found the thermal change to be rather subtle.

Lemming Lacquer – Nereid Crown

Lemming Lacquer Nereid Crown is a red coral holo with a subtle gold shimmer laced throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dazzle Glaze – High Heeled Heaven

Dazzle Glaze High Heeled Heaven is a red violet base packed with silver shimmer and iridescent purple flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ever After Polish – Pinksicle

Ever After Polish Pinksicle is a deep pink scattered holographic base packed with silver and pink iridescent micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Midwest Lacquer – Wispy Whip

Midwest Lacquer Wispy Whip is a white crelly base packed with iridescent shimmer, aqua and blue hex glitters in various sizes and purple iridescent hex glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Handmade Natural Beauty Lotion Bar

So this isn’t a 10th polish – but it is a bonus item in the box! There WILL still be a 10th polish, but that’s a surprise!

Handmade Natural Beauty sent these cute little lotion bars in the scent Green Tea & Cucumber. The scent is fresh and crisp and if you haven’t tried a lotion bar yet – you should! I love them! They are solid bars that warm to your body temp to apply lotion to your hands (or legs or arms) and I’ve been using them for years.

Handmade Natural Beauty is the sister company to Sassy Pants Polish! While she didn’t contribute a polish to this box, she will be in the next box!

A Mini Indied Box February 2016 Overview

I like the mix of indies this box provided. As I said, some are new to me, some I’ve dabbled with the brand, and others I’m pretty familiar with. This is a really nice way to sample 10 brands and then decide if you want to jump in more with any or all. In this box I was familiar with 5 of the 9 polishes, so 4 are new to me. That’s a pretty nice mix.

This is a limited edition box and supplies are running out, so if you are interested – act fast! At the current time all 10 polishes are exclusive to this box, but that’s not to say you won’t see full sizes of any in shops in the future.

If you can’t grab a box now due to funds, or other reasons, I included all shop links of the makers involved in this box under each photo set, so you can follow them and snag some beauties in the future! For $35 though, it’s not a bad way to sample 10 brands and see what you like. As I said, some makers included a discount code to their shop within the box as well which ups the value a bit.
