Press Samples of A Mini Indied Box
A group of 10 fabulous indie makers have teamed up to put together A Mini Indied Box! What is this box? It’s a great way to try out 10 different brands in one spot, for a low price. Some of the indies in this box are new to me, and some I’ve tried once or twice, but a couple I’m pretty familiar with.
Let’s take a peek inside the box, and then we’ll go over ordering information at the bottom.
Top Shelf Lacquer Purple Flip Flop
Top Shelf Lacquer is a brand I’m fairly familiar with. I’ve worked with her a couple times in the past. Purple Flip Flop is a gorgeous vibrant, almost neon, purple base with violet and aqua blue glass flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Pretty & Polished The Skies Are Falling
Pretty & Polished is another brand I’ve worked with in the past, and she was actually one of the first indies I ever ordered from. The Skies Are Falling is a teal jelly base packed with teal and silver holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Gunpowder Lacquer Fallen Sky
Gunpowder Lacquer is another brand I’ve worked with and her cremes are gorgeous! This is a beautiful turquoise creme with gold shimmer flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Lucky 13 Lacquer Life Is Short and You Are Hot
Lucky 13 Lacquer brings us Life Is Short and You Are Hot which is a red jelly base with red and silver holographic hex glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats anda glossy top coat for these photos.
Joy Lacquer Plum Full Of Cherries
When I first put on Joy Lacquer’s Plum Full Of Cherries it was a deep, vampy plum. While waiting for the first coat to dry I went along playing video games… then looked and my nails were red. I didn’t realize it was a thermal!
When warm (shown above and directly below) this is a vibrant cherry red with delicate silver shimmer. When cold, (shown below the next macro shot) it’s a beautiful, deep vampy plum. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Nail Hoot Genesis
Nail Hoot Genesis is a green leaning teal jelly base and is packed with violet shimmer as well as blue and holographic micro glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer This Fruit Was Bruised
This shade might be familiar to you – I’ve reviewed it before! This is a burgundy/purple linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Northern Star Moonlit Snow
Northern Star Moonlit Snow is a medium grey creme base with silver shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Native War Paints Extra Crispy Walkers
Native War Paints is a brand I’ve heard of but never tried! Extra Crispy Walkers is a black jelly base packed with orange, blue, red and gold glitters and shreds. In some lighting it has a fiery illusion on the nail. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Hit The Bottle Smurf Blood
Hit The Bottle is a completely new to me brand, I actually hadn’t heard of it before this box. Hit The Bottle provided a stamping polish in the box, and I’m no where near a master stamper. I used Smurf Blood as a normal polish on my index and pinky and then used it to stamp over a black creme on the middle and ring fingers. It covered over the black great – my stamping skills just need some work ;)
Smurf Blood is a vibrant aqua blue with aqua shimmer to really give it a glowy effect.
This shade is the only one not guaranteed in each box. You might get this one or Purple Reign which is a purple stamping polish.
A Mini Indied Box Overview
I like the mix of indies this box provided. As I said, some are new to me, some I’ve dabbled with the brand, and others I’m pretty familiar with. This is a really nice way to sample 10 brands and then decide if you want to jump in more with any or all. I noticed in my box that some of the brands had 1 time use codes of 10-15% off their brand as well, so it’s a nice little bonus if you happened to have liked their shade and want to purchase more.
This is a limited edition box and supplies are running out, so if you are interested – act fast! There are 5 different shops you can grab your box in as well!
Price: $35.00 Per Box + Shipping

If you can’t grab a box now due to depleted Christmas funds, I included the Facebook pages of the makers involved in this box above so you can follow them and snag some beauties in the future! For $35 though, it’s not a bad way to sample 10 brands and see what you like. As I said, some makers included a discount code to their shop within the box as well which ups the value a bit.
