After a little break and some changes, A Box, Indied is back and relaunching. There are some changes that took place, as many know. One important one to mention is that A Box, Indied will no longer be subscription based. Instead it will be done as a pre order on the 1st and 2nd of each month and should be out and on the way to those who pre ordered by the 15th.

You can expect to find swatches by the 23rd of the month for the next month’s box. At the end of my post you can find the list of bloggers where you can find photos. That’s also another change. Instead of waiting for various bloggers to show a couple previews and jumping around trying to search out all 5, you will find all 5 swatches in each blog post or IG account. Again, the list of bloggers will be located at the bottom of my post so you know where to find them.

Okay, ready to jump into the December edition of A Box, Indied? Let’s do this. Here are the first 5 shades in the Revamped & Reloaded A Box, Indied!

KBShimmer Bling Out Loud

KBShimmer brings us Bling Out Loud this month. This is a stunning grape jelly base that is absolutely PACKED with silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Girly Bits Tubthumping

I had to pull out my high school music list for this one because as soon as I saw the name I had the Chumbawamba song stuck in my head.

Anyways. Tubthumping is what Girly Bits is bringing to the table for this months A Box, Indied. This is a sheer gold base packed with gold and bronze holographic microglitters. There is also a lovely flash of violet pink. I used 2 coats for full coverage and a glossy top coat.

And thanks Pam. I had to hear the song again and now my son seems to think it’s the greatest song ever.

Darling Diva Polish Redelicious

Darling Diva Polish brings us Redelicious. This is a heavily pink leaning red jelly base (or red leaning pink? It’s hard to tell because it changes depending on lighting) with scattered holo, shimmer and iridescent flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Black Cat Lacquer Wine & Dine

Black Cat Lacquer is a brand I don’t have much experience with – but if this shade is any indication of the brand then I need more.

Black Cat Lacquer brings us Wine & Dine! This is a deep red burgundy crelly base that is jam packed with metallic pink, violet, and gold holographic glitters in various sizes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because this is packed with so much glitter, I would recommend thin coats and a nice thick glossy topcoat to smooth it over.

Contrary Polish Ch-Ch-Changes

The final shades in the box is Contrary Polish Ch-Ch-Changes! This is a thermal shade so I’ll show the first set of the polish in it’s cold state, then in it’s warm state.

Ch-Ch-Changes goes from a dark grey base to a light grey base when warm and has gold and silver micro flakes an a light sprinkling of black micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

A Box, Indied December 2015 Overview

This is a nice box with some heavy hitting indie brands involved. I am happy to see the box continue, especially since it was up in the air for a bit. The shades in this box were really nice and I loved all the sparkle. I’m looking forward to seeing what the upcoming months bring as well!

Each month will have a different mix of makers, much like the old box. Some are permanent that you will see often and there will also be guest makers that will pop up less frequently.
