Who’s ready for the another month of A Box, Indied? Well I hope a lot of you are because I have the A Box, Indied April 2016 Take Me Out To The Ballgame themed box to show you!

This month the theme is Take Me Out To The Ballgame and the brands featured in the April 2016 box are: KBShimmer, Contrary Polish, Colors by Llarowe, Great Lakes Lacquer and Darling Diva Polish.

Colors by Llarowe Batter Batter Swing

Batter Batter Swing is really hard to photograph, but this is a gorgeous blurple scattered holo with gold flecks and purple shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. In some lights it looks blue, in others purple.

Contrary Polish Outta The Park

Contrary Polish Outta The Park is a beautiful teal creme base with a delicate shimmer and red to violet to bronze multichrome flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Darling Diva Polish There’s No Crying In Baseball

When I saw the name of this polish, I felt the urge to rewatch one of my favorite movies.. A League Of Their Own.

There’s No Crying In Baseball is a beautiful holographic with purple shimmer and silver micro flecks mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Great Lakes Lacquer If You Swatch It They Will Come

I LOVE Great Lakes Lacquer twist on “If You Build It, They Will Come”

Great Lakes Lacquer If You Swatch It, They Will Come is a pretty medium pastel like green. I don’t know why, but the shade is escaping me. It has multichrome flakes mixed in that are shades of gold, aqua, blue, purple and green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer Fireball

KBShimmer Fireball is a glitter topper with white and red hex glitters mixed in with a very light dusting of holographic microglitters. I used 1 coat over Zoya Laurel.

A Box, Indied April 2016 Take Me Out To The Ballgame Overview

This is a fun box and has a nice mix of polishes in it. You get a glitter topper, holos with shimmer and ultrachrome flakes. I really think they were testing the bloggers with having a teal and blurple in one box though – which are 2 of the most difficult for me to photograph. I had no application issues though, and the theme is a fun one!

Each month will have a different mix of makers, much like the old box. Some are permanent that you will see often and there will also be guest makers that will pop up less frequently.
